Police Brutality free essay sample

Examining an Argument This contention is coordinated to two unique sorts of individuals: the police and the general population. This tends to two distinct sorts of a group of people. It tends to an antagonistic crowd and it tends to a thoughtful crowd. You can who the crowd is on the grounds that the writer lets you know in the paper. The tone of this article is useful and it utilizes a great deal of models. This raises our subsequent significant instrument. This instrument is called sentiment. The creator utilizes some extremely point by point instances of occasions that happened to get the individuals to have compassion toward the subject. The creator tells his crowd that the greater part of the viciousness is coordinated towards African Americans and individuals of different races. This raises poignancy since race is as yet a tricky subject nowadays and a few people can identify with what's going on the planet. The last significant instrument that the creator utilizes is ethos. We will compose a custom article test on Police Brutality or on the other hand any comparative subject explicitly for you Don't WasteYour Time Recruit WRITER Just 13.90/page The creator picks up believability through his statements and his models. He utilizes things from individuals like Yussuf Naimkly from the University of Regina. He likewise utilizes individuals like Patrick V. Murphy who was a head of police commissions in Detroit, New York and Washington, D. C. There are two significant presumptions that I have taken from this article. The main significant supposition that will be that some cops are acceptable however a large portion of them are terrible and utilize their capacity carelessly. The subsequent supposition that will be that a large portion of the police ruthlessness is coordinated toward individuals with and ethnic foundation. He utilizes a few guides to back these up yet what the creator neglects to acknowledge is that there are different episodes where these presumptions can be countered. I feel that the contention in this paper is really viable towards the open crowd. I feel that if the political crowd were to peruse it they would require somewhat more proof all together for the creator to swing them. The police can simply make rebounds saying that are just a couple of occasions that have occurred; in spite of the fact that, the creator tends to a measurement that a cop expressed managing the crime percentage dropping. There aren’t that numerous upgrades that I feel this article ought to have. The principal improvement that I figure this article ought to have is with its ethos. With utilizing the statements from the school teachers the creator never states what work that that individual holds. The individual could be an educator in a totally extraordinary field and that would detract from the validity. The other thing that I believe should be improved is the forcefulness. An exposition ought to be there to drive an individual into thinking something yet this papers tone appears to be a little to laid back considering the one sort of crowd it is tending to. The last point that I am attempting to make is that you can't compose and contention to two unique gatherings. I imagine that the creator should just address a thoughtful crowd on account of the tone of the section. In the event that individuals can identify with this exposition, at that point the paper with be solid however on the off chance that individuals can’t identify with it, at that point the article will be feeble.

These issues will be analyzed in detail in the resulting segments of the paper concerning case instances of organizations in current activity. Positive parts of Roles and Functions of the Human Resource Department Recruitment of Employees This is one of the most key jobs of the HR division. This is on the grounds that this capacity guarantees that the Company viable chooses the most skilful and capable individual from an ocean of candidates around then. This capacity includes assessment of capacity and competency of potential representatives corresponding to what the Company needs. This job falls under the Staffing job of the board. In the event that this capacity is performed well, at that point the association will expand esteem subsequently being on the correct pathway to accomplish its hierarchical and departmental objectives and destinations. (Hyde, 2004) Effective enlistment should be possible through various ways. Above all else the Company can lead instructive and mental estimations. This assignment will include appraisal of capacities, abilities and character assessment of candidates. Through psychometric assessment, the Company can guarantee that workers have the correct disposition important to fit into the association. Another strategy Companies use to enlist individuals from staff is through meetings. Here, the Human Resource Department can ask candidates inquiries that assess their dynamic capacities and how they would manage certain circumstances whenever gave them. The Department can likewise utilize the utilization of composed meetings where candidates answer questions tending to enter issues in the association. Through these channels, the Department contributes towards hierarchical execution. A case of a Company that plays out this job well is Tesco Ireland. The Company informs people in general about opening. It at that point posts a poll on the web and invested individuals occupy it around then. This is then assessed and the individuals who fall inside their base necessities are welcomed for a meeting. In the meeting, candidates are posed various inquiries and the individuals who did incredibly well are additionally broke down and held. The individuals who did respectably well are not promptly dispensed with; rather, their inquiries questions are kept on document then these are looked into following a half year. By so doing, the Tesco Ireland ensures that its workers are profoundly competent and that they will advance the association. (Hyde, 2004) Improvement of Compensation Packages One of the significant elements of the HR division is to persuade workers. This should be possible through remunerations particularly for the individuals who have progressed admirably. The HR office needs to assess execution of representatives and the individuals who have surpassed desires ought to be made up for their activities. Research has demonstrated that compensating workers for good execution is the main motivation for keeping up this pattern. These pay bundles can come in the accompanying manners; †Holiday Offers †End of Year Bonuses †Equities †Awards †Salary Increments †Provision of Flexible Working Hours †Straight forward Promotion Schemes and Career Developments If the HR division incorporates these motivations, at that point it will guarantee that representatives are happy with the Company. It will likewise contribute towards great staff standards for dependability. This is particularly urgent in expanding dependability inside the association. It additionally causes representatives to relate to the firm and imparts a feeling of faithfulness. Helpful, 1999) Planning in the Organization The Human Resource Department is put with the obligation of guaranteeing that it designs sufficiently for all the organisation’s future commitment that will include individuals. One significant part of this is getting ready for workers in the association. It is significant that the association gu arantees that all the workers under the care of its are sufficiently only to build an incentive to the association. The Department must guarantee that staff individuals are not very numerous provided that they surpass this sum, at that point the association stands also lose. It must arrangement sufficiently to guarantee that staff individuals are not very few either, else they will exhaust the individuals who are now set up. Therefore, there will be poor inspiration coming about because of exhaustion. The HR office is likewise offered with the obligation of arranging future hierarchical objective according to individuals or explaining these equivalent objectives to staff individuals. This capacity of the division guarantees that individuals in the association have a general course which they are progressing in the direction of. Associations that have an unmistakable heading are in every case progressively compelling; those individuals from staff will be more outcome arranged instead of simply working for it. The Department is additionally answerable for setting everyday destinations vital for smoothing out exercises inside the association and along these lines guaranteeing that work isn't simply done randomly. (Hyde, 2004) Negative Aspects of Functions and Roles of the Human Resource Department There are various issues that emerge as the division approaches its exercises Problems in Recruitment The office may now and again be not able to satisfactorily organize and join all the workers required in the Company’s activities. One such model is the NHS. In the year 2004, the association was seen as needing in its human asset department’s capacities. The Company was enlisting a huge extent of its workers; 40% from Asian and African nations. This implies the association was emptying clinical work force out of those destitute nations and utilizing them for themselves. (Katherine, 2002) Such a training indicated that the HR division had practiced awful judgment in ts staffing capacity. Rather, it could have utilized these outside medical attendants as impermanent measure and set up a methodology to prepare nearby attendants with the end goal that it could quit contingent upon those poor nations for flexibly of medical caretakers. Issues in Remuneration during the time spent attempting to rouse individuals from staff to perform better, the Human Resource may make barga ins that in the long run cause issues. An a valid example is the Home Depot. This Company has a representative Compensation strategy that necessitates that one ought to be remunerated for the time they have served the Company. The Home Depot Company offers a finish of year reward, essential pay and award on stock offers as a motivator for a portion of its workers The CEO of the Company Robert Nardelli lost his employment in the year 2007. This was on the grounds that the organization has encountered a great deal of misfortunes under his administration; its offers fell by eight percent in the stock trade and he had the right to leave the Company. In any case, in light of the fact that the Human Resource Department had set up an arrangement that requires all individuals from staff to be given the motivator referenced above, he left with a ton of cash. It was accounted for that he had with him around 200 and ten million dollars. The Company had no chance to get out of this installment since HR had just passed that strategy and they were limited by the law. This demonstrates at times strategies made by the HR office don't profit the Company particularly if the gatherings included are considered as misfortunes to the Company. (Michael, 2007) Problems in Planning Sometimes the HR Department can utilize individuals who may not contribute towards authoritative standards. An exemplary model is the Arthur Andersen Company that self-destructed in the year 2002. This was an American Company that managed reviews. It was at first extremely fruitful in its tasks before that decisive year. In any case, in the last long stretches of its tasks, the Company was associated with two bookkeeping outrages that discolored its name and in this way caused disappointment. The Company neglected to design well for the sort of workers it enrolled. This was seen when one of its workers in the Legal Department called Nancy Temple was fined in the Court of law for non adherence to bookkeeping laws. This issue could have been forestalled if the HR division had assessed this worker before employing her and furthermore assessment ought to have been finished during her presentation. On the off chance that HR had been very basic, at that point they would have understood that the worker didn't hold fast to Company standards and would along these lines have fired her business. Adjacent to this, the Arthur Andersen Human Resource division additionally bombed in its correspondence capacity to representatives. The office ought to have guaranteed that they continually impart to individuals from staff about the objectives and goals of the Company on an everyday premise. This would have made them clear in the psyches of worker

Analysis Of Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn, A Russian Author With...

Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn, a Russian author with personal experience of labor camp conditions, relates the experiences of his fellow prisoners by showing the world that humanity can be maintained in the most degrading of places. Such a theme can be observed closely in his novel One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, first published in 1962. As the title suggests, the novel is about a day in the Gulag (prison) from dawn to dusk from Ivan’s perspective. The Gulag is designed to strip the Zeks of their individual identities and dignity. The zek’s names are taken from them and replaced by numbers: ‘S 854, â€Å"The Tartar read from the white stripe that had been stitched to the back of his black jacket,† (15). Then their personal belongings are taken†¦show more content†¦In the stance taken by Solzhenitsyn, Ivan maintains his dignity by resisting the idea of indulging himself with food. In the novel the author raises an important question about whether f ood is a necessity or valuable to humanity (dignity). When Ivan recalls a prisoner who talked about the types of Zeks who manage to live: â€Å"Those who lick other men s leftovers, those who count on the doctors to pull them through, and those who squeal on their buddies,† (8), he says, do not survive. Though Ivan knows that the prisoners do survive at the cost of their own humanity, he respects and agrees with most of Kuziomin s statement: â€Å"You’re sure to be given something to eat there, though there were plenty of others at that game, more than plenty- and, what’s worse, if you found a bowl with something left in it you could hardly resist licking it out,† (7). For Ivan, avoiding the mess hall in the morning or after the meal was important, as he might be tempted into leaving his dignity for a little amount of food. This is a significant step towards conserving his morality and surviving his sentence. In Solzhenitsyn perspective, keeping away fro m the food represents the idea of control over one’s body. This is highly significant because living in the Gulag, where the authority treats zeks in the most dehumanizing of ways, one needs to be able to command themselves, controls their desires to stay intact their dignity.

Therefore it would be said that government and clients in the countries in which cigarette products are sold are the main stakeholders for the organization. All the marketing strategy and customization of products should be dependent upon their choice of action and policies framed in particulars countries (Thomas Bond, 2012). In the given question it is observed that management department of Big business tobacco is facing problem regarding whether to include health warning on cigarette packages or not. Tobacco industry is very unethical industry as the products offered by this industry has long term bad effects on human bodies. However, in some of Asian counties as per their government policies it is mandatory to add on this warning on cigarette packages and in some of countries it is not required to put this warning on packages. However, company not depicting health warning may result into loss of huge potential market share. In addition, there is other thought that if company complies with the health warning policies in all of Asian countries then it will result into creation of effective brand image. Therefore it is observed that company should comply with the health warning issue policies in all the countries for the sake of ethical business practice. It would result into creation of effective bran im age and will help organization to discharge its corporate social responsibilities to the extent (Gore, 2015). Other ethical issues Big business tobacco is offering unethical products e.g. cigarette and other tobacco products which affect the human body and they are addictive, dangerous and cause environmental damage very drastically. Top management of company is considering earning profit and increment in its market share and does not have any concern regarding the human health and ethical issues. Advertisement strategy which is considering by Big business tobacco is not ethical and misleading about cigarette (Lancet, 2012). Merry bender the marketing manager of Big business tobacco has been opposing the health detrimental warning. If I were to be Randall hedges then I would comply with all the advertisement policies and program to increase the brand image of the organization. However, including this heath warning will not only increase the ethical business practice of Big business tobacco but also it will help to increase the market share of cigarette products in Asian market. It is observed that including health warning is in trend especially in tobacco products and increase the genuinely of the cigarette products in Asian market segments. Therefore being in the position of Randall Hedges I would showcase all the pros and cons of this marketing strategies to Mary Bender. It will help top management to identify how having ethical marketing strategy will increase the brand image of organization. Moreover company should indulge in making complete level of disclosure of cause and effects of cigarette on hu man body. Now as per my own view Big business tobacco should add on health warning in its products to increase the ethical business practice. This industry is highly accompanied with the unethical business functioning and providing detrimental effects on human body (Laverty, et. al., 2014). Reference Gore, J. Philosophy - Absolute Understanding Essays - Philosophy, Religion

Philosophy - Absolute Understanding An elephant was brought to a group of blind men who had never encountered such an animal before. One felt a leg and reported that an elephant is a great living pillar. Another felt the trunk and reported that an elephant is a great snake. Another felt a tusk and reported that an elephant is like a sharp ploughshare. And so on. And then they all quarreled together, each claiming that his own account was the truth and therefore all the others false (traditional parable). None of the accounts that the blind men made about the nature of the elephant are absolute truths, nor are the accounts false. An absolute truth, or one that is true for all, can not be achieved because of the constant motion of circumstances of who said it, to whom, when, where, why, and how it was said. Instead of absolute truths, the concepts or beliefs that the blind men claim are viewpoints that each one clarifies the nature of the elephant. Everybody has learned to see things from his or her own sense of reason and logic. The many things that people experience throughout their lifetimes, help to determine the judgments toward the different issues and objects that they encounter. Because individuals has his or her own sense of reason and logic, the perceptions that people encounter are ultimately true, and not false. Life does not contain one truth for any idea or object, but truths can be found in one's perception. It is difficult to determine that anything is the absolute truth. One should not prove that any object contains a true meaning, but should develop conceptions surrounding the object. Attempting to prove anything then would be difficult, if not impossible. Our senses from smell to values to reality may differ from person to person. What may be true to one person may be different for another. Because everybody has different perceptions about life, it is difficult to weigh the content of any concept. Every account, of its own, is formed to be the truth of the one individual who assumes it. The variety of concepts may have the virtue of being considered. This is how people develop a deeper sense of understanding for all objects. Truth is achieved through the concept and not the object itself. Because many individuals hold different perceptions, they have many truths to consider, or not to consider. For example, it would be impossible to determine, whether or not, the cutting of trees is either "good" or "bad." One might have the conception that cutting trees destroys homes for birds and other animals. Another person might have the conception that cutting trees is necessary to satisfy the need to provide homes for humans. Whatever concept is understood from the object, may be the truth. Just because there may be other viewpoints to this situation, does not mean that there has to be false statements. The tree can be used for many uses from medicine to paper to boats and none of these views would be wrong. The tree remains to be a tree, but the values of the tree can differentiate, depending on who is using it. The conception of God, or the non-conception of God, is another issue that many people make the mistake of trying to prove. A well recognized philosopher, Soren Kierkegaard states, "For if God does not exist it would of course be impossible to prove it; and if he [or she] does exist it would be folly to attempt it." Demonstrating the existence or non- existence of God only produces reasons for belief, not the actual proof that God exists. Kierkegaard also claims, "...between God and his works there exists an absolute relationship: God is not a name but a concept"( Kierkegaard 72). The relationship between man and God is a concept. A person with belief in God, cannot prove its existence through his or her own relationship with God. Kierkegaard adds again, "The works of God are such that only God can perform them" We have no basis of proving God's works, nor do we know what kind of works God uses on different individuals. Yet, some religious groups have

Free Essays on Plato On Justice And Injustice

In The Republic, Plato attempts to demonstrate through the character and discourse of Socrates that justice is better than justice is the good which men must strive for, regardless of whether they could be unjust and still be rewarded. His method is to use dialectic, the asking and answering of questions which led the hearer from one point to another, supposedly with irrefutable logic by obtaining agreement to each point before going on to the next, and so building an argument. Early on, his two young listeners pose the question of whether justice is stronger than injustice, what each does to a man, and what makes the first good and the second bad. In answering this question, Socrates deals directly with the philosophy of the individual's goodness and virtue, but also ties it to his concept of the perfect state, which is a republic of three classes of people with a rigid social structure and little in the way of amusement. Although Socrates returns time and again to the concept of justice in his discourse on the perfect city-state, much of it seems off the original subject. One of his main points, however, is that goodness is doing what is best for the common, greater good rather than for individual happiness. There is a real sense in which his philosophy turns on the concepts of virtue, and his belief that ultimately virtue is its own reward. His first major point is that justice is an excellence of character. He then seeks agreement that no excellence is achieved through destructive means. The function of justice is to improve human nature, which is inherently constructive. Therefore, at a minimum, justice is a form of goodness that cannot be involved in injuring someone's character. Justice, in short, is a virtue, a human excellence. His next point is that acting in accordance with excellence brings happiness. Then he ties excellence to one's function. Professional Workoplace Dilemma Paper Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Professional Workoplace Dilemma Paper - Essay Example Moral and ethical dilemmas are becoming frequent in one’s professional life. The cut throat competition coupled with diverse and multicultural fabric of the society, makes it difficult for a person to maintain a high level of personal integrity. The main reason being that very often the personal values clash with the organization’s objectives and organization’s target based results. According to Joseph Badaracco, "We have all experienced situations in which our professional responsibilities unexpectedly come into conflict with our deepest values...we are caught in a conflict between right and right. And no matter which option we choose, we feel like weve come up short" (internet). The resolution of ethical dilemma therefore requires a very careful consideration so that both the parties become gainers. As a customer support executive in a credit card company, I often come across such situations while dealing with the customers. My company being a target based organization, I have to sell credit cards to the customers so that I can meet my professional responsibilities and even exceed target for rapid advancement in my career. Even though all my customers may not require the credit cards, but the need to sell them becomes my professional responsibility towards my company. In such cases, I am faced with the ethical dilemma of whether I should convince my prospective customer so that he agrees to take our credit card. One such case comes to my mind whenever I look back to time. I once sold our credit card to a university immigrant student who had come on scholarship from India. Although I had informed him of all the details of using prudently the credit card, I later came to know that the said student had come under so much of debt that despite being an extremely bright student, he could not complete his studies on time as he had to work long hours to repay the debt accrued on his credit cards.

Media and Communication Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Media and Communication - Essay Example Such technologies are not created simply along with the general progress of humanity as Marx believed. Rather, dominating and oppressive technologies which enable media and communication are not produced automatically or instantaneously but produces as a result of specific discursive formations which not only fashions knowledge in terms of its own logic but also constitutes the way of thinking itself. It is through the process of 'rationalisation', the term commonly associated with German philosopher Max Weber, Western model of capitalism became dominant over the entire surface of earth. In terms of governance, art and science, modern capitalism is uniquely based on rationalisation and subsequent mechanisation. The process of rationalisation is merely an embodiment of instrumental reason to which, in the epoch of modernity, human beings are subsumed. Foucault (1970) is of the view that modern social institutions are not only rational structures but also mechanisms for reproducing instrument rationality. Questioning the totality of deterministic meta-narrative histories, Foucault presents an idea of fragmented histories of 'strata'. The negation of the idea of total or holistic histories by Foucault is extremely visible when he puts forward the (epistemologically different) questions that; "which strata should be isolated from others What types of series should be established What criteria of periodization should be adopted for each of them What system of relations (hierarchy, dominance, stratification, univocal determination, circular causality) may be established between them What series of series may be established And in what large-scale chronological table may distinct series of events be determined" (Foucault, 2002 , p.4). Answering these questions with relations to 'media and communication as a stratum of culture', it would be possible to demarcate the realm of media and communication and analyse it as an independent and autonomous discursive formation in itself. For Foucault, the state of media and the techniques of communication which is quintessential to western technology-driven and dominated culture are the product of a culturally specific construction and validation of knowledge. There are monopolies of knowledge which legitimise particular domination structures and patterns. The media itself is a monopoly of a particular type of knowledge and communication techniques are the channels of dissemination of monopolised knowledge. Media not only constitutes but also maintains forms of monopolised knowledge which are oppressive in both form and content. Speaking from a technological standpoint based on Foucault's delineation of discursive formations, media can be seen as vehicles or carriers of mass oppression and mass domination made possible through the realisation of technologies of domination and oppression. On the other hand, the discursive model of media and communication as a "field of discursive events" is nothing but a "grouping that is always finite and limited at any moment to the linguistic sequences that have been formulated; they may be innumerable, they may, in sheer size, exceed the capacities of recording, memory, or reading: nevertheless form a finite grouping" (

Desert Survival Situation Essay Example for Free

Desert Survival Situation Essay The desert survival scenario taught me how to think rationally and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. There is a certain time when we need to act as a group to achieve a goal, maybe to survive. The SDI and the desert survival scenario were intertwined especially during discussions. In a group. In SDI, we have four colors red, hub, blue and greed and each represent behaviors. Red characteristic behaviors tend to be competitive, forceful risk taker and self confident, Blues trust, helpful, modest, devoted, caring and supportive. Green characteristics are cautious, principled, fair and reserved. Hubs posses the three characteristics combined. All these four colors have an overdone side of each. In our discussion during the desert survival, were put in group and each group had members who were in these categories of colors. Interestingly, some group agreed to rank the items in a different ways, while others were able to almost come up with a list almost the experts rankings, Why?.Looking at their color characteristics, if a group had only gree, blue and hub, they were most likely to come up with no challenge. On the other hand, if we had all reds in a group there was not going to gain anything because all the will do is everyone compete and try to dominate. If all were green, they were likely to avoid and start talking out of the discussion. The Kilman conflict mode also can be applied in this analyses. For example,if in our discussion ,we had a competing member and all the others are avoiding mode, what will happen?. The red(competitor) will control all what the others say. No one will object anything and I thing the discussion will yield nothing at the end. If we have majority of accommodating members and avoiders, what will happen?.Everything will be â€Å"yes, I will do it† or avoid all. In order for the group to function, we need to have all the above members balanced. In an organization, if the manager is competing and a subordinate staff answerable to the manager is accommodating, that will lead to overworked, overwhelmed and misuse. In my society, women do not hold powers like men in every aspect of their lives. Although it is now changing the perception has not changed much. They are not entitled to posses or inherit properties. Not like in this country. In our class discussions, the professor does divide students into small groups to discuss the certain topic. I like how small group play because in this class we have members, who are adults and have experiences from their ages. They know how to handle and talk about issues. There personalities and attitudes are positive in how they interact with others. I have not been contributing much to the class and I think that is not being rude but this is something that I have struggle all along in my life.

Commentary :: essays papers

Commentary The article that will be discussed in this paper is entitled â€Å"Phenomenology as a method to investigate the experience lived: a perspective from Husserl and Merleau-Ponty’s thought† co-written by Maria Lucia Araujo Salada and Ruebens de Camargo Ferreira Adorno. The article gives a run through of the phenomenologies of both Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Edmund Husserl, in order to appropriate their theories into psychological nursing. The question written at the beginning of the second half of the article attempt to redefine the act of nursing through phenomenology. Then the author begins to describe how to use Merleau-Ponty’s work to re-evaluate the treatment of patients in an isolation ward. In the following passage the author describes how using Merleau-Ponty’s notion of lived experience would be beneficial for the nurse in treating patients in an isolation ward: â€Å"We chose students who were experiencing being on an isolation ward while they the research was conducted because we believed that while they were actually experiencing the isolation ward their thoughts and feelings related to the experience would show up in their perceptions before undergoing a reflexive process. In their descriptions we looked for their prereflexive experience, which is the origin of the whole reflexive process and knowledge of the world.† (Salada 288) Supposedly, by being on an isolation ward, they're lived-world is so limited that research can be done on the nature of perception much more concisely. As stated in the introduction to the article; "Recently nurses have seen phenomenology as an important methodology for understanding nursing experience....as opposed to the Cartesian method...this perspective seems to be better able to handle human issues by adding new perspectives..." (Salada 282) I chose this article because I am personally interested in how the work of phenomenology can be used in areas of medicine that have been traditionally controlled by psychology. The article gives an in-depth overview of Husserlian intentionality and Pontian redefinitions of the phenomenon and lived experience. Now, I will explain both the work Husserl and Merleau-Ponty have done in phenomenology as it regards this article. Husserl, Ponty and Phenomenological Research When Husserl began the phenomenological process, the dialectical problem that had arose from Cartesian dualism began to slip away. As Husserl put phenomenology, it was "universal in its scope, because there is no a priori which does not depend upon its intentional consciousness" (Husserl 11) Phenomenology begins from the primordial, it begins with 'the things themselves'.

Writing and Personal Experience Essay

Personal experience essay writing largely refers to describing personal experience, as the title suggests. Usually, this type of essay would include describing some, incident or ordeal you have been through. However, it may also refer to a string of related incidents that you remember as one whole experience. It is entirely up to you how you choose to handle your Personal experience essay. Regardless of which way you wish to go about writing your essay, there is a general format that you would want to follow. Also, making an outline would help you to stay organized, and it would prevent you from wandering away from the main topic points.A general format for a Personal experience essay would include an introduction, a body and a conclusion. It is best to describe your points in chronological order, starting with the first point in your introduction, and winding up with you last in your conclusion. However, in a Personal experience essay you might need to include flashbacks at certain stages in your essay in order to refresh your reader's memory. You must remain as clear as possible when doing so. For your Personal experience essay, choose an experience that is easy to write about.Keeping it simple will allow you to have control over what you want to write about. You might not need to mention every detail you have in mind. The best approach is for you to make an outline of the experience. Your Personal experience essay is like any other essay in this way because you need to make brief pints to create a flow. However, you are generally free to go about your writing the way that you feel comfortable. In a Personal experience essay you do not need to support your claims or experiences with scholarly sources. Your experiences are entirely your own. However, you may want to compare your experience with some well known one. This is helpful in a Personal experience essay, and can stir a reader's interest. Though you are free to write in any style you want, avoid making g eneral statements. You need to make your statements match your personal experience. In a Personal experience essay, the primary focus is for you to describe yourself in relation to the incident you experience. You will need to increase the intensity of this when you start writing the main body of the essay. In a Personal experience essay, the body carries the main weight in terms of your personal description. The introduction deals with leading your reader into the main discussion while the conclusion should explain how the incident or personal experience has influenced you. For writing a Personal experience essay, there are few small but significant points you will find helpful. These include describing your experience through using your senses [whatever you see, feel, hear, smell, and taste]. In a Personal experience essay, you should also describe your thoughts, emotions, and actions. These will all help to bring out how the experience has influenced you.

The Prohibition Of Polygamy An Essential Part Of Mormonism

The practice of polygamy is said to be an essential part of Mormonism, promising resurrection after death or becoming closer to God, and although it has been argued to cause harm by many researchers, the prohibition of the practice could potentially go against the Charter’s promise of freedom of religion. Polygamy is prohibited under S. 293 of the Criminal Code, and the Government of British Columbia came to the Court in order to decide if the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects the right to practice polygamy for religious purposes. The objective of the prohibition of polygamy is to protect women, children, men and society from the harms associated with it. When examining human history, polygamy had been condoned by most societies although men were not always able to support multiple wives. Dr. Sheidel of Stanford University says that the beginning of what he calls socially imposed universal monogamy (SIUM) took place in ancient Greece and Rome. This meant that polygamy was normatively prohibited regardless of a man’s ability to support his wives. Socially imposed universal monogamy became dominant and over time both Roman and Christian societal norms began to converge, making it difficult to determine SIUM as a specifically religious norm. Other belief systems, such as Islam, accepted polygamy and was beginning to spread through the Middle East, North Africa, and Spain with the collapse of the Roman Empire.
